Nice! Thanks for posting that!! (I completely gapped that Hot Docs might pick it up. (I was holding out for a potential TIFF screening.)

Really want to see this. Plus, Klosterman doing the interview...amazing!

Oh, got my ticket the moment a very nice friend posted the link on my wall. Sometimes it pays to blab about LCD to non diehards so they remember you when a certain documentary comes to town.

Anyone else got tickets for the first night?

I ♥ Toronto (The Drake! The Rivoli! Pad Thai at the Queen Mother!) but won't be there for Hot Docs (alas) and still awaiting NYC dates, surprised SUAPTH isn't in the Tribeca Film Fest this month...

(Aw, the Queen West strip! Smile

Oscilloscope has announced they're going to release the film in select, one-night engagements, this summer. NYC would definitely get it, yes?

P.s. I think the plans to roll out just like a 'concert' is kinda cool.

"It's a fine line between sentimentality and documenting the thing, but, for us, we were telling a story and we did want to affect people."

Good Guardian profile of the filmmakers --

I saw the Hoxton DJ set in the listings and bought tickets right away! Smile

Question now becomes, will there be a James Murphy Q&A at one of the doc screenings? (How awesome would that be?!)

Caught the screening last night too. That concert is truly one of the best shows I've ever been to. It was kinda nice to relive a little bit of the excitement I felt that night.

Those performances...wow. That camera work is amazing! And the sound mix? It's ridiculous how good it is!!

Assume there was more than a passing reference to Yauch's passing in JM's post-Hot Docs gig at the Hoxton tonight. Guessing he was en route from LA (Mike D's gig) to Toronto when the news broke...
