how about the first special disco version party tomorrow night at santo's playhouse, 100 lafayette, if you know what i mean.
wednesday may 21st. it will get down.
go to myspace/specialdiscoversion for the up-t0-the-minute poop. like when it starts. i'm guessing 10 to 4 (or longer).
oh--it's $5. it's not for us. it's for the venue. fancy jim toth disco sound systems aren't free, you know! |

exactly. finally someone has figured us out. we loathe the west coast. i didn't want to say it, and i was hoping everyone would think we'd just list the first few gigs, and then list the ones after it as they came in, and then logically assume that we would play the west coast eventually as gigs came in, or even think of vancouver as the west coast, but you've seen through our charade.
i say it now--god damn you, west coast. we will never darken your shores.
OR, we'll play there probably pretty soon, like in san francisco or LA or something, like we always do. |
i moved out to SF from NY and it really isn't that bad... LA does suck though, so stick it to 'em and come to SF... please and stuff. |

SF is an OK city.
I could do without the people who reside there, though. _________________

DJing at a party for a museum's foundation which benefits their education programs is a no-no because having "indie cred" is serious business.
The more comments I read, the more it makes me glad that I would rather deal with L.A. hipsters any day over these baby Brooklynites who feel a sense of duty to preserve their borough's "realness". Get over it.
Besides, doing something for a good cause plus getting free champagne always gets a thumbs up in my book. _________________

fuck doing good! i want the champagne! i mean, i walked in there, smugged some people up, and then just yelled "i don't give a fuck about the kids! where's my fucking champagne, you rich losers!"
actually, it was kind of like that for real. |
