| actually 2 cd's and 2 double 12"s, released separately... too much music for one release. |

would the disc in question be the 2005 holiday mix? Perhaps not, that's just one cd and is actually remixes of dfa stuff by other people... _________________ I was there..... |

no no no.
it's a compilation of all the remixes spread over 2 releases. one cd will com out when we get it together (a LOT of licensing headaches) and it will be accompanied by 2 12"s. it's soon-ish. and the other cd will come out as soon after the 1st as it can. |

|
| will this be an exhaustive compilation of ALL dfa remixes? aside from the goldfrapp one, i'd say the metro area one is pretty hard to find unmixed or on vynil. |

| everything to date through Goldfrapp. No remixes that were for DFA (i.e. black dice, delia and gavin etc.)- all 3rd party remixes. Each CD is 80 minutes long. We will have an announcement for CD1 very soon. |

ive collected everything exept that super rare goldfrapp track. its gonna be really cool having everything on one disc though. are any of the edit's any different than the original mixes? It was cool getting the long edit of decepticon on the US reissue of the Le Tigre CD. and like he said... that metro area track is only available on mixes. Morgan Geist rules...UNCLASSICS 4 life!

Well looking forward to this already .. not heard the Metro Area or Hot Chip tracks before, they good yeh?
The Radio 4 mix was the first I ever heard of DFA, and it still sounds fantastic after all these years. |
