| you guys failed on epic proportions last night. i'm a huge supporter of DFA records who came out early from chicago along with friends from all around the country for this event and you guys failed 175% percent on how things were handled. way to discriminate against people who were instructed to arrive early and in proper attire.arrived at 10pm only to be told that it was an "exclusive" party that had nothing to do with shit robot or juan maclean even after showing the so called even coordinators the event info linked to dfarecords.com. wtf.. was it a jersey shore trash party in le bain last night or what? it's alright though because i have the best friends in the world and we made the best of the night after DFA records and Le Bain rained on our parade. thanks for nothing.. i'm glad i don't live in this city because the nightlife scene represents everything that is wrong with america today. |

I was pretty taken aback by the douchiness of the whole thing. They really brought douchey doorman shit to the extreme. Most of the people on my 10 person guest list, including my European booking agent, were not allowed in.
I had never been to Le Bain, I had no idea what to expect. This show left a lot of people very unhappy, including Lindsay Lohan, who had a run-in with Shit Robot. |

Funny story:
Myself and three others somehow appeased the door god and got in. We staked out a spot in the corner to the right of the DJ booth, and by about 12, it was probably the only place you could stand. We were just hanging out and dancing when these two girls pushed through the crowd, walked up and looked at one of my friends. Then this exchange happened-
(Two girls, glaring at my friend Sarah) "Where are you from?"
(sarah) "Denver."
(Then turning and glaring at my friend JJ)"No, where are YOU from?"
(JJ) "Denver."
(Two girls) "UGH!" (huff, then dramatically turn around and push their way back through the crowd.)

sorry guys who missed this unfortunute, dont let it put you off going to another gig if shit robot and Juan are playing!!!
+ i was one humiliated by a bouncer while waiting for shit robot and hercules to turn up to a night in my city and refused entry to the club for reasons i dont wanna go into, but i was uber upset and left without seeing em coz of bouncer ego and douchness like Juan decribes!
